Ambassador G. Varvuolis participates in ASEF Board of Governors’ meeting

On 10-11 June, the Ambassador Gediminas Varvuolis participated in the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) Board of Governors’ online meeting.
The Board of Governors listened to activity and financial reports of the Foundation, reviewed project proposals for 2021 in the fields of culture, education, sustainable development, governance and media. A special attention was paid to digitization of ASEF’s communications, efficient use of online platforms and social networks. Recommendations for further ASEF’s activities have been adopted.
The Asia-Europe Foundation, established in 1996, aims to promote better mutual understanding and cooperation between Asia and Europe by promoting intellectual, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people contacts.
