Ambassador Šlepavičius presented his letters of credence to the President of South Korea
On 11 October, the Ambassador of Lithuania to Korea Ričardas Šlepavičius presented his letters of credence to the President of South Korea Yoon Suk-yeol.
Šlepavičius discussed bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation between the two countries during a bilateral meeting with the President of South Korea, which took place after the ceremony.
Šlepavičius is Lithuania's first diplomatic representative, who has resided in Seoul since the opening of the Embassy of Lithuania in South Korea. The embassy that was opened last September aims to strengthen Lithuania’s international position, political and diplomatic ties with its partners in the Asia-Pacific region, to consolidate the security and well-being of Lithuanian citizens, and to open up new opportunities for Lithuanian exporters in the most advanced world markets.
