International conference in Canada to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Molotov-Ribbentrop pact
On September 12, Embassy of Lithuania in Canada together with the Embassies of Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine and Moldova organize an international conference to mark the 80th anniversary of Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. The key speaker of the conference will be Garry Kasparov who is a former chess-master, pro-democracy activist and one of the Russian opposition leaders. The conference will involve a panel discussion about the legacy of the Nazi-Soviet Pact today, featuring international experts and political leaders.
