L.Linkevičius congratulated Ukraine’s new Foreign Minister P.Klimkin

On 19 June, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius congratulated Ukraine’s newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin. The Foreign Ministers had a telephone conversation to discuss bilateral cooperation and Ukraine’s integration into the European Union, and agreed to meet shortly in Brussels.
On 19 June, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine nominated the career diplomat Pavlo Klimkin as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Prior to this appointment, P.Klimkin served as the Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany.
