Lithuanian Ambassador meets with Georgian Prime Minister

On 3 August in Tbilisi, Ambassador of Lithuania Giedrius Puodžiūnas met with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili to discuss bilateral relations.
The Prime Minister thanked the Ambassador for Lithuania’s continued support of Georgia and hailed the warm and friendly ties. According to Garibashvili, Lithuania has always set an example to Georgia in the field of implementation of political and economic reforms. Lithuania’s experience and expertise on a range of issues such as economic reform, modernization of agriculture, and improvement of social and educational systems are important for Georgia.
This is the first formal meeting between Puodžiūnas and the Georgian Prime Minister after his appointment as Ambassador.
