Lithuanian Foreign Minister is visiting Berlin

On 19 March, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius is paying a working visit to Berlin, where he will discuss Lithuania’s plans to become a member state in the euro area and to join the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Europe’s response to the situation in Ukraine and to Russia’s aggressive actions.

On 20 March, the Lithuanian Foreign Minister will meet with the German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the Foreign and Security Policy Advisor to the Federal Chancellor Christoph Heusgen, the Coordinator for Intersocietal Cooperation with Russia, Central Asia and the Eastern Partnership Countries of the Federal Foreign Office Gernot Erler and the Chairman of the Bundestag’s Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs Norbert Röttgen.
