Lithuanian Foreign Vice-Minister participates in Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly's Political Committee meeting

On June 11, the Lithuanian Foreign Vice-Minister Oskaras Jusys participated in a meeting of the Council of Europe (CE) Parliamentary Assembly's Political Committee in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein, which took over CE Ministerial Committee presidency in May, has presented its programme at the forum, while Latvia has summarized its chairmanship over the organization. Other issues have also been discussed. Lithuania is preparing to preside over the CE Ministerial Committee in the November 2001 - May 2002 period. The four CE members chairing the organization one after another - Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania and Luxemburg - have established an informal L-4 group, which seeks more efficient coordination of CE presidency and share experience among themselves.
