Lithuania’s 10th Honorary Consulate in Ukraine opens in Kharkiv

Lithuania opened its Honorary Consulate in Ukraine’s second city Kharkiv on 18 November. Konstantin Tokarev, who is a well-known entrepreneur in Kharkiv, was appointed as the Honorary Consul of Lithuania. The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Lithuania to Ukraine Marius Janukonis, heads of local administration and other guests.

On this occasion, the Lithuanian-Ukrainian business forum took place in Kharkiv. Over 30 representatives of companies from the two countries took part in the forum. At the same time, the Embassy of Lithuania, which serves as a NATO Contact Point Embassy in Ukraine, organised a forum for students of universities in eastern Ukraine. The participants discussed Euro-Atlantic security.
