Lithuania’s Foreign Minister congratulates Slovenia on its National Day
On 25 June, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Karl Erjavec on Slovenia’s Statehood Day, and wished well-being and prosperity for the whole country, as well as its people.
In the congratulations letter, Lithuania’s Foreign Minister emphasized that relations between Lithuania and Slovenia were friendly, active and close. Linkevičius expressed confidence that both bilateral cooperation between the two countries and their partnership in the international arena will only intensify, aiming to meet global challenges, and to pursue successfully the common goals of creating a peaceful, secure, and prosperous future for our citizens.
Diplomatic relations between Lithuania and Slovenia were established on 22 November 1991.
