Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Landsbergis: “Russia poses a long-term threat not only to Lithuania but to NATO as a whole”

On 5 April, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis met with General Christopher G. Cavoli, Supreme Allied Commander Europe.
“As the Vilnius NATO summit is approaching, together with the General, we agreed that Russia remained a long-term threat to Lithuania and the Alliance,” Landsbergis said after the meeting.
The meeting also focused on implementing the decisions made during the NATO summit in Madrid and actions necessary to reinforce the defence and deterrence on NATO’s eastern flank.
