Lithuania’s Foreign Ministry condemns a terrorist attack on synagogue in Jerusalem, offers condolences to relatives of victims

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania strongly condemns a terrorist attack of 18 November in a synagogue in Jerusalem’s neighbourhood of Har Nof. Ministry offers its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, their relatives and all the people of Israel.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania urges all sides to refrain from any action by way of incitement that threaten peace perspective. It is important to do utmost to prevent further escalation of violence. Ministry calls for urgent resumption of negotiations leading to a two-state solution and urges to refrain from any unilateral actions that would highten tensions and undermine resumption of talks.
