Minister Budrys to make a working visit to the Netherlands

On 16 December, Minister of Foreign Affairs Kęstutis Budrys will pay a working visit to the Netherlands.

In The Hague, the head of Lithuania's diplomacy will meet with the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs, David van Weel, and attend the conference to launch the International Claims Commission for Ukraine. The newly established commission will make decisions on requests for compensation for damage or losses caused by the unlawful acts of the Russian Federation in or against Ukraine, and assess the amount of compensation payable for the damage suffered.

At Maastricht University, Minister Budrys will give a keynote speech on “Building a case for a stronger, safer and more resilient Europe: Lithuania’s perspective”. The Minister’s lecture is part of the Princess Beatrix Lecture Series. Every year, the event brings together high-level European politicians, military officers, and other distinguished figures.
