New Lithuanian Ambassador in Austria presents her letters of credence

Lithuania’s new Ambassador in Austria Loreta Zakarevičienė presented her letters of credence to President of Austria Heinz Fischer on 16 September.

After the ceremony the Ambassador assured President Fischer of her wish to further advance close and friendly bilateral relations. Important international issues, the situation in Ukraine and cooperation aimed at solving the conflicts in third countries were also discussed.

Lithuania and Austria re-established diplomatic relations in 1991.
