Presentation of the German brigade in Lithuania to partners in Finland

On April 15th, at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs, the Chairman of the National Security and Defense Committee of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, Giedrimas Jeglinskas, and the designated commander of the German Brigade in Lithuania, Brig. Gen. Christoph Huber, updated representatives of Finland's defense, media, and diplomatic corps, on the etsablishmentof the German Brigade in Lithuania.

On April 15th, at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs, the Chairman of the National Security and Defense Committee of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, Giedrimas Jeglinskas, and the designated commander of the German Brigade in Lithuania, Brig. Gen. Christoph Huber, updated  representatives of Finland's defense, media, and diplomatic corps,  on the etsablishmentof the German Brigade in Lithuania.

G. Jeglinskas and C. Huber emphasized the German Brigade in Lithuania will significantly enhance geopolitical stability both in the region and in Europe. The Brigade will achieve full operational capability by 2027, with 5,000 German troops stationed in it.

This is the second presentation of the German Brigade in Lithuania in Finland. The first presentation took place on March 5th in the Defense Committee of the Finnish Parliament. Both events were organized by the Lithuanian and German Embassies in Finland.
