Vice-Minister Valys met with representatives of Lockheed Martin
On March 19, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Taurimas Valys met with representatives of Lockheed Martin, one of the largest companies in the U.S. defense sector, and discussed opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the defense and security industry.
“Lithuania seeks to consistently strengthen transatlantic cooperation in the defense and security industries. The experience and technological potential of U.S. companies are particularly important for developing innovations, increasing the resilience of supply chains, and building long-term partnerships,” emphasized Vice-Minister Valys.
During the meeting, participants discussed current security challenges, the importance of resilient supply chains, and the rapidly growing role of advanced technologies. Significant attention was also devoted to opportunities for industrial cooperation, investment, and the development of joint projects.
